​Pastor Leroy Reeves, Jr. is an anointed deliverer of the Word of God. His mission is to help those in need, provide hope for the lost, and help to bring about healing in lives that are broken. He is a renowned pastor/teacher in the middle Georgia area. He preaches revivals throughout the state of Georgia and other states. He began his journey in this calling at The Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church in Powersville, Georgia where he served as pastor for two successful years. He has now been pastoring Center Hill Baptist Church since August of 1989.



Pastor Reeves was born April 19, 1946 to the parentage of the late Deacon Leroy Reeves,Sr. and Mrs. Annie Mae Reeves. His educational foundation began in the Bibb County Public School System, where he was a 1964 graduate of Ballard-Hudson High School. Following graduation he joined the U.S. Army where he served for three years. His travels have extended from Europe to Southeast Asia, and throughout the United States. He retired from the federal government after thirty years of service.

In an effort to broaden his scope of knowledge, Pastor Reeves received his Business Administration Certification from Macon Technological Institute. He additionally received his specialized training from military and federal civilian schools. In 1996, he earned a diploma in Biblical Studies from Liberty Home Bible Institute in Lynchburg, Virginia to ensure that he was equipped with the knowledge and skills to do God's work.

 

Pastor Reeves has a wealth of experience that contributes greatly to his success as an effective leader in the community. He now pastors over six-hundred members at Center Hill. Pastor Reeves served as a deacon for eleven years and as Sunday School Superintendent for seventeen years before being called to preach in 1985. His affiliations include, two time president of The Evangelical Ministers Alliance of Macon & Vicinity, Vice-President of The Baptist Ministers Union of Macon and Vicinity, President of The Congress of Christian Education, Georgia Baptist Missionary & Educational Convention, First District Chairman, Union Baptist missionary & Educational Association and many other christian and civic organizations.

Pastor Reeves is blessed to be married to his childhood sweetheart, the former Deloris Chambliss for forty-four years, and they are the proud parents of two children, Ingrid and Kevin. They are the proud grandparents of Christina, Rakim, Kevin Jr., and Kaitlyn. They are blessed with one great- grandchild, Jakayla.
